Teenage Cancer Trust
Set up by Roger Daltrey the Teenage Cancer Trust shows are not only for an extremely worthy cause but also provide some of the best nights entertainment of the year. The shows run for a week at The Royal Albert Hall in London and over the last few years have been able to attract some of the biggest names in both music and comedy. Teenage Cancer Trust tickets are always popular as past acts include The Who, Muse and Ricky Gervais.
The 39 Steps
John Buchan's The 39 Steps - memorably filmed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1935 - is thrillingly adapted for the stage. Legendary scenes include the chase on the Flying Scotsman, the escape on the Forth Bridge, the first theatrical bi-plane crash ever staged and the death-defying (or nearly!) finale at the London Palladium! With four actors playing a minimum of one hundred and thirty nine roles, The 39 Steps is the most astonishing theatrical tour de force of the year.
