Brought to theatrical life by a legendary creative team, Disney’s new Broadway musical ALADDIN will sweep you into a world filled with beauty, comedy and breath-taking spectacle when it opens at the Prince Edward Theatre, London, in June 2016. Directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon) with music by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast), ALADDIN features lyrics by Howard Ashman (Beauty and the Beast), Tim Rice (The Lion King) and Chad Beguelin (Elf), who also wrote the book. Featuring the timeless songs from the classic film including A Whole New World, Friend Like Me and Arabian Nights along with new music written for the production, ALADDIN is an extraordinary theatrical event you will want to be amongst the first to experience. This production contains theatrical smoke & fog effects, pyrotechnics, strobe lighting & loud noises. Please note there will be an auditorium blackout of 8 seconds around 45 minutes into the performance. Please note: Children under 3 years of age are not permitted to enter the Prince Edward Theatre.

Travel Details

The Prince Edward Theatre can be found in the heart of London's Theatreland on historic Shaftsbury Avenue adjacent to Chinatown, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square.

The theatre is on main bus routes that run down Shaftsbury Avenue, around Piccadilly Circus and Charing Cross Road including 14,19, 22B, 38,53,88,94 and 159.

It is within the Congestion Charge Zone (7am until 6pm). The nearest car parks are Denman St, Brewer St Car Park and Masterpark - Chinatown, Newport Place.

If you use the Q-Park scheme in conjunction with London theatres you may get a reduction of up to 50% on parking in the West End. The nearest participating car park can be found in Poland St, Soho.

Piccadilly Tube 0.2 miles 1 minute walk.
Leicester Square Tube 0.3 miles 6 minute walk.
Oxford Circus Tube 0.5 miles 10 minute walk
Charing Cross Tube and Mainline Station 0.6 miles 12 minutes walk
