THE WOMAN IN BLACK

The Woman in Black is a classic gothic horror story that was first produced in the West End twenty five years ago and has run non-stop ever since; true testimony to the overriding popularity of this chilling ghost story. We dareyou to catch a glimpse of this rippingyarn at the Fortune Theatre in Covent Garden.

Susan Hill wrote the original horror novella as recent as 1983, but she wove so much Victoriana into the plot you would be mistaken for believing it was penned when gaslight was nouveau.

Journey out to Eel Marsh House with young Arthur Kipps, the junior solicitor sent to preside over the last will and testament of Alice Drablow. A hush lies on the small market town on the East coast of England – the locals are afraid to speak of the dread that lies upon them. A fell mist plagues Nine Lives Causeway, the only way in and out over the dread marshes to the desolate Eel Marsh House. This place will give up its secrets… slowly. These secrets should have been taken to the grave, but they still walk the earth in the twisted frame of The Woman In Black. Dare you cross her and her satanic quest?

Join Arthur Kipps as he recounts his story in an attempt to exercise the ghosts of the past. It is an experience you will likely never forget. To check availability and book your discounted tickets to see The Woman in Black, click on the 'Book Now' button.
