About The Duke of York Theatre:

The Duke of York Theatre opened in 1892 as the Trafalgar Square Theatre before being renamed in 1895 as the Duke of York's to Honour the future King George V.

The theatre was bought by ATG Entertainment in 1992 and has had a host of successful shows such as The Rocky Horror Show, In Celebration and Arcadia. A prominent recent production was Jamie Lloyd's Romeo&Juliet which starred Tom Holland.

The theatre was also the only West End stage Charlie Chaplin has stepped on in his solitary stage acting appearance in 1905.
