Pretty Woman The Musical London

Savoy Theatre, London

About The Show

One of Hollywood’s most beloved romantic stories of all time is now a spectacular stage musical, now playing at THE SAVOY THEATRE.

PRETTY WOMAN follows the story of Vivian (a role made famous by Julia Roberts in the film), who when working the streets of Sunset Boulevard meets a wealthy business man, Edward (Richard Gere in the film) who hires her to accompany him to different social events. As time goes on Vivian and Edward grow increasingly closer but they come from different worlds after all and Vivian wants to find her knight in shining armour.

Pretty Woman: The Musical features direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, Hairspray), an original score by Grammy® winner Bryan Adams and his longtime songwriting partner Jim Vallance (“Summer of ’69”, “Heaven”) and a book by the movie’s legendary director Garry Marshall and screenwriter J.F. Lawton. The musical score includes original songs such as ‘Welcome to Hollywood’, ‘Rodeo Drive’ and ‘You and I’ as well as the title song from the film.

The West End production stars Danny Mac as Edward who is best known for Hollyoaks and Strictly Come Dancing. He stars alongside Aimee Atkinson who originated the role of Katherine Howard in six the musical. The musical adaptation stays faithful to the film so you can expect all of the iconic moments that you know and love from the Hollywood classic plus an array of original songs.

Missing it would be a big mistake. Huge.
