About The Show
Following a sold-out run at the Royal Court Kimberly Belflower’s John Proctor is the Villain transfers to the West End, heralded as one of the most compelling new plays of recent years.
One small town. A soundtrack of pop, adrenaline and barely-contained rage, five young women reveal something darker is stirring. As long-buried truths rise to the surface, they begin to question everything and take control of the narrative for themselves.
Directed by Tony Award-winner Danya Taymor (Broadway’s The Outsiders), this ★★★★★ joyous, blazingly intelligent’ (Financial Times) production offers a poised and piercing exploration of girlhood, power, and the courage to question what we think we know.
