Cameron Mackintosh, in association with Michael Harrison, presents the spectacular new production of MISS SAIGON as Boublil and Schönberg’s legendary musical is reborn. The soaring score features hit songs including; The Heat is On, The Movie in My Mind, Last Night of the World and The American Dream. This epic production opens in London from May 2027 for a strictly limited season at the Prince Edward Theatre. In the last days of the Vietnam War, 17 year-old Kim is forced to work in a Saigon bar run by a notorious character known as The Engineer. There she meets and falls in love with an American GI named Chris but they are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. For 3 years Kim goes on an epic journey of survival to find her way back to Chris, who has no idea he’s fathered a son.?

Please note: This production contains scenes of a sexual and violent nature, wartime themes, firearms, derogatory and coarse language, drug use and the simulated smoking of cigarettes. The production also contains strobe lighting, gun shots, loud sound effects, theatrical haze, and pyrotechnics.

Age Recommendation

Age Recommendation: 14+

Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old. Children under the age of 3 will not be admitted. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break but we cannot guarantee admittance into the performance.

Running time is 2 hours, 4o minutes - which includes one interval.

The Prince Edward Theatre can be found in the heart of London's Theatreland on historic Shaftsbury Avenue adjacent to Chinatown, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square.

The theatre is on main bus routes that run down Shaftsbury Avenue, around Piccadilly Circus and Charing Cross Road including 14,19, 22B, 38,53,88,94 and 159.

It is within the Congestion Charge Zone (7am until 6pm). The nearest car parks are Denman St, Brewer St Car Park and Masterpark - Chinatown, Newport Place.

If you use the Q-Park scheme in conjunction with London theatres you may get a reduction of up to 50% on parking in the West End. The nearest participating car park can be found in Poland St, Soho.
